20 facts about me

I am doing something where I will make one post a day for 31 days, lets see if I can do it! So my first few posts you will get to know a lot about who I am!


So here goes 20 RANDOM FACTS about me.


1. I was born in Dallas, Texas ( see I was just NOT made for winter )
 
2. I was a cheerleader for a short time in my life.
 
3. I have an obsession for Elvis Presley , I love Lucy & The Wizard of Oz
 
4. I have seen every episode of Sex and the City a million times ( never enough)
 
5. I can go weeks without wearing ANY makeup ( in fact I haven't worn any since Christmas )
 
6. I am pretty good multi tasker in life. I LOVE to have a lot going on!
 
7. Fleetwood Mac and Linkin Park are my 2 favorite bands (what a mix, right?)
 
8. I LIVE for quotes. My walls in my room growing up were full of them!
 
9. My favorite color is Purple
 
10. I am a messy eater-literally everything I eat gets dropped!  
 
11. When I was 16 I was given the nickname CHEESE, thanks Pam! (long story)
 
12. For as long as I can remember I've always had a love for photography- was always that annoying person saying " lets take a picture "
 
13. I love writing, I have  about 15 journals & diaries from ages 11-20.
 
14. I LOVE hosting and helping put together events and parties! 
 
15. Water is my favorite drink then of course SPARK! ;)
 
16. I love adventures!
 
17. I LOVE trying to be organized-LOVE Paper planners, highlighters & lot of pens!
 
18.  I LOVE kids, always have! Started babysitting at 12.
 
19. I can eat Mexican or Sushi any day of the week!
 
20. I have a fear of severe fear of heights.

weekends are for...

Weekends aren't the same for me as they are for others. I am only off every other weekend and those weekends "off" are spent doing my other "jobs" such as photography stuff or things for my challenges that I host... but I LOVE it. This weekend I had a surprise visitor! She literally texted me Saturday night and said "should I come tomorrow afternoon?" UM yes, I will never say NO to a visitor especially this one. <3 You only have so many people in this world that understand you and get you 100%. Adulting is HARD.

Lets be honest. LIFE is NOT easy. LOTS of choices to be made, and when you are a parent the choices you make no longer just effect you-they effect your children so life gets even harder.  I spend A GOOD amount a time a week self reflecting on how far I've come and where I want to go--we go through moments in our lives of "what IF" . I tell ya, I'm SO thankful that Advocare has come into my life. I think it has helped me grow as a person, a leader, financially and health wise. Ill take you back to my early 20s. I was a lost person, mentally. I didn't know where I belonged in life. I knew a few things-- I LOVED people, I LOVED helping people, I LOVED photography, but in those early years in our lives we are told "GO TO COLLEGE , GET A DEGREE, get a JOB and thats it" but I always thought of myself as 'DIFFERENT' I never wanted to just go behind a desk and work. 2017..THE year for flashfitgirl

2017.... I've heard the saying  2015 was practice... 2016 was the warm up.... 2017...its GAME time. But what does it all mean? How many times have you thought THIS IS MY YEAR? Then you get to March and you haven't finished that book you said you would, you skipped your work out 7 days  now, laundry days have turned back to every day, your brand new planner is a mess, the kids are driving you mad, and you're letting little things eat you up?! YUP. Its happened to me... and I can guarantee if you're reading this, its happened to you too! We are 25 days until a brand new year and guess what if you feel like you've already failed- YOU ARE WRONG! If you haven't done anything you've said you were going to, time to get on it, if its MORE time you need- then its time to find it. But then you run into those problems again-  how can you find the time if you don't have it. I wish I had all the answers. BUT what I can do is share what has worked for me f
