A sunday well spent...

Image
There is no truer statement...   I started my day sleeping "in" in meaning past 7am...    I got to spend a little time with my friend Aimee and got my hair colored and cut... oh it needed it so bad!    The rest of the afternoon was spent cleaning, doing laundry and napping... well I didn't nap but these guys did.   Jeff deserved this kind of day more then ever. The man is constantly working, doing school work or helping me around the house. He deserved a day of napping & basketball.   This was the first weekend in a few weeks we had no plans and probably the last for awhile, so hope you got good rest my love ; - D Jussst kidding...kinda.   I hung out in the kitchen for the afternoon with Fleetwood Mac.     Cooking up for the week.....   Lean in 13 Starts tomorrow!!      Sautéed Spinach and onions with Chicken   Almonds Some Veggies   Hard boiled eggs   Salad   Turkey Meatballs

Lean in 13

Image
About 16 days until Vacation which means its MAJOR crunch time and since I am not due for a cleanse until April I am so excited to hop on the lean in 13 with tons of other people :D  An idea of what the Lean in 13 plan looks  like....  It a system of Burn and Refuel. I will miss fruit, but I think your body needs a reboot like this every so often. Every since I got my food scale i believe it is so important to WEIGH out everything! You would be surprised how much we over eat and under eat..

From 2x to a L...

I fit into a Whhhaaat?!... Dec 24th, 2013.  It was Christmas and I was excited to have some family time and stuff my face, I mean isn't that what the holidays are for? I excitedly ripped off the tags to a shirt with cute little bows on it and went to put it on....... ....It didn't even go over my shoulders! I cried for a little while, wiped off my tears and went downstairs to take some pictures. I threw on my leggings and the biggest shirt i owned.  That was me on the left that morning. Same shirt on in Feb of this year....50lb difference. I needed a MAJOR change. I couldn't take the horrific acid reflux, and awful foot pain, the sluggishness.  I did much research and found a  24 Day Challenge  . I lost 20lbs in those first 20 days. That was it, that was all I needed! I learned how to live a healthy lifestyle, make healthy choices. No Magic pill, no quick fix. Just how to eat right, portion control, and to be able to have balance.  I didn'

Target, Starburts & Vitamins....

When Jeff states the words " Lets go to target " I waste NO time, Its like hearing the words "SANTA CAME" when you were 5. I swear! He says he doesn't like going there, but I think secretly he does! If I cant find him I look by Electronics, mans razors or......... he LOVES to spoil those boys.....   Some of my buys might have included LOTS of gum! I LOVE a Starburst, and Sour Patch Watermelon-SO when I find gum that tastes JUST like those 2 candies. I stock up! I used to eat an entire bag of Starburst Reds Jelly Belly. I am ashamed :(   Another buy was this great Weekly Am/Pm Vitamin holder! I take quite a few vitamins and was  forgetting daily because carrying 5 bottles to work with me every day was a little silly. These are my EVERY day MUST haves.   Omegaplex -Supplies 1,000 mg of omega-3 fatty acids per serving Does amazing things for the Immune system, hair, nails & skin! Coreplex - Its a multivitamin..what more can I s

It feels like it has been forever that we have had temps above 20 degrees! It also feels like it had been forever that I had made a visit to Long Island- so thankfully the weather cooperated and I got to go down there for my 24 hour visit!   First I had a little peanut to meet!   I got to spend some time with my Friend Kristen and photograph their beautiful family!   Then it was off to surprise my 3 (not so little ) peanuts! They will forever be my peanuts to me, even if Brianne is almost as tall as me :( We had an even BIGGER surprise for them later that day.... They were just excited to have me there for dinner!   But then we told them we were going to the park...... but we ended up at the Circus instead! They were psyched!   After the circus I got to meet my friend Pam for a drink and chat..it was LONG overdue! I don't drink much anymore so a few sips and I was done! HAHA #Lightweight     Sunday Morning... It was time to go home but

10 years from now...

Image
Have you ever thought where you would LIKE to be in 10 years? Well as the last 2 years of my 20s come around I have thought about it more often.....   I know they say to live in the moment, but you have to have some kind of future goals-even if those plans may not work as you think they will, you should have an idea.   10 years from now I will be 38.   Career Wise-I hope to have my Photography business up and running in FULL with my own studio, and have my Advocare business as my secondary business. I want to help as many people as I can throughout the years. I want to build a team of champions.   Relationship- Well ideally I would LOVE to be happily Married to Jeffrey.   Children- YES! I want a house full of chaos! ;) Kids & pets.... I would like to have a few, but I don't want to put a number on that because who really knows what will happen.   House- I want us to have our house of our dreams... Jeff loves the modern look, where I like traditi

5 weeks until Vacation

I tell ya...nothing motivates you more then having something to look forward to.... Right now I am focusing on my Florida/Cruise trip in 5 weeks... keeps me going knowing that I will feel better if I can hit my next weight goal by then and even better if I can wear those cute bathing suits I ordered awhile back ;) Retro High Waisted Bikini       A few weeks ago I thought of a great idea to start a Biggest Loser Competition.... I created the event on my facebook, and it took off! I was so excited to see so many people interested! The group of people involved are great and so motivating! It keeps me going and has kept me busy- that is for sure! I love it and glad I started it, I will be doing more!   My new thing lately is no excuses, I think we make too many in life and it keeps us from doing what needs to be done. No matter how tired I have been the last few weeks- I get to the gym and I work out. Wednesday nights are a big cardio night- I usually run/walk for 3

A massage and a good laugh can cure anything...

I tell ya, I am a very darn lucky gal! I am not here to brag...but sometimes it just needs to be done! I like to FULLY enjoy weekends even if I still have work.... so Friday night I went out to dinner with some Meyer ladies. I love spending time with them- we get to talk about the men in our lives and they aren't there to defend themselves ;) Saturday I had work and then got a great workout in- 4 miles ran/walk/jogged, I am at that 45 minute mark and ready to pass through it! 40 Minutes is the goal this week!! :D After my run, I did some weight training - I have been following a routine from my trainer 3x a week, it really has helped! When the weights get too easy to lift, I know I am doing something right ;) I pulled a muscle for the 1st time during a workout and it hurt, I couldn't finish the last set of my reps :( so I left went to the grocery store-then my brakes on my car started acting all funny, UGH. Thankfully I have a wonderful aunt and uncle who just so hap
